Good Afternoon,
We are a week into our Color Run Fundraising, and we have already raised over $3,000 online, with the overall goal of raising $40,000. But I wanted to remind everyone that the deadlines for the 1st two raffle items are soon approaching.
1. Every $40 a student raises by 4/5/24, they will get a raffle ticket to win a Drone.
2. Every $100 a student raises by 4/12/24 will get a raffle ticket to win a chance to “Throw a pie in the face of Mr. Boles” better known as “Pie the Principal.”
Don’t miss out on these two great raffle items…..
If you would like to set up an online account to collect donations, please follow this link https://shop.schoolathon.org/EventIndex.asp?EID=198416
If you have collected cash or checks, your child can turn in their envelopes in the main office on one of the following turn-in dates: “Turn in Dates” are (4/5, 4/12, 4/26, and 5/3).
When your child turns in their envelope, the money will be manually added to their account so that they will be eligible for raffles and prizes.

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) has updated recommendations for schools and the general public to prevent the spread of any respiratory viruses.
There are no longer any statewide isolation or quarantine requirements for those who test positive for COVID-19. This aligns with the March 1, 2024, updated guidelines released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The new guidance applies to any respiratory viral illness such as COVID-19, Flu or RSV. Symptoms of a viral illness include fever, chills, fatigue, cough, runny nose, and headache.
The new guidance states that even with a positive Covid test, individuals may return to school/work and resume normal activities when:
● they have not had a fever for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medications like acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) AND
● symptoms are improving.
For additional information – please refer to the student handbook under “School and Illness: When your Child Should Stay Home.”
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your school nurse.

Dear Students, Parents/Guardians and Staff
Today we had our Color Run Kick-Off Assembly. It was a great event where we highlighted great prizes and giveaways for our students and staff. This year, we aim to raise $45,000, which comes out to about $80 per student., and have about 6 weeks to fundraise.

Our first incentives are:
Students who raise $40 online in the first week (by April 5th), go into a raffle drawing to win a drone.
Students that raise $100 by April 12th, go into the raffle to personally "Throw a Pie in Mr. Boles's Face" in front of the whole school on May 17th. I think this will spark some interest...
Thank you in advance for all your help and support. This should be a great event.
Mr. Boles
