BMS Moving On Ceremony one week away!
Our sixth graders enjoyed a fun and educational field trip to USA Skates, where they participated in a STEM-based program called “Cells on Wheels: Exploring the Cell Model.” Students engaged in a hands-on science activity focused on cell structures and functions, followed by two hours of roller skating fun!
Our fifth graders had an amazing time visiting Old Sturbridge Village last Friday! It was a day full of hands-on learning, curiosity, and fun — a perfect way to connect classroom lessons to real-world experiences.

What an incredible day at the Civics Fair! Our students showcased their knowledge, creativity, and passion for making a difference. From exploring how government works to presenting real-world solutions to community issues, they blew us away with their insight and enthusiasm. The future is in good hands!
🎓 Today we welcomed back the high school seniors as they took one final walk through the halls of their middle school. It was a full circle moment filled with hugs, high fives, and a few tears as former teachers and staff proudly cheered them on.
It’s amazing to see how far they’ve come since their middle school days, and we couldn’t be more proud of the Class of 2025. Once a bulldog, always a bulldog. 💙

Today was Anything But a Backpack Day and it did not disappoint! From laundry baskets to coolers to shopping carts, our students brought the creativity and the chaos! 😄

What an incredible day at our Color Run! From start to finish, the energy was high and the smiles were nonstop. Participants of all ages made their way through the colorful course, and by the end, everyone was a walking masterpiece!
In addition to the run, we had a blast with field events, a crowd-favorite dunk tank, and an obstacle course that brought out everyone’s competitive spirit.
Thank you to all our volunteers, staff, and families who made this event possible. Your support and enthusiasm made the day truly special.

Today, our own Mr. Yangambi was the career presenter for our 7th and 8th grade students. He shared the importance of volunteering and how he became an educator through volunteering with kids in youth football. He also shared his personal journey to leadership, speaking about the key steps and choices that led him to become a Principal, and the important relationships and mentors who helped guide him along the way. A great reminder to our students that success is built one step and one connection at a time—and that volunteering can open many unexpected doors!

Special Olympics today was a huge success! 💙 So proud of our athletes, volunteers, and everyone who made it an unforgettable day of joy, inclusion, and achievement!
Mrs. Simkins’s class put their problem-solving skills to the test by stepping into the shoes of a budgeting family!
Students were challenged to choose an internet and streaming service for their “new” home that not only met their fictional family’s needs—but also stayed within budget. All while applying their knowledge of solving systems of linear equations to make it happen!

Our seventh graders had a great time on their field trip to Patriot Place! From exploring the interactive exhibits to enjoying a day of hands-on learning outside the classroom, (and even squeezing in Red Robin for lunch), it was an exciting and educational experience for all.
