TES/ELC Arrival/Dismissal Visitor Procedures
TES/ELCProcedimientos de Llegada / Salida para Visitantes
- Students arriving after 8:45 should be accompanied by a responsible person to be signed in on the tardy book
- Breakfast is available from 8:30-8:45AM. From 8:40-8:45 breakfast is taken to be eaten before announcements
- ELC guardians should note their child’s unique schedule of the program in which they are participating
- Parents/Guardians dismissing
their child early or changing their child’s usual dismissal mode of
transportation should send a note to their child’s teacher for that day.
This helps with putting the child in the appropriate line at the end of
the day and reduces confusions so children are safely dismissed.
- If your child’s dismissal methods are on a rotating schedule between
bus/ABACUS/adult pick up/etc., please send a note each week even if you
have sent the days for the year. This serves as a reminder and is vital
when a substitute is working on any given day as that person may not be
familiar with your child’s routines.

Volunteering
- You must have an accepted CORI on file at each school (ELC and Thacher
are seen as separate schools by the state regarding this matter) which
is valid for three years.
- In the presence of an office staff member/designee, you must provide
a current photo ID when completing the required form. The last 6 digits
of your social security number are required for electronic submission
to the state review board. These will not be shared with other staff or
agencies.
- Day time volunteer opportunities are coordinated with individual
teachers by sending a note stating when you are available or in response
to a teacher’s request for volunteers.
- If you are interested in volunteering for one of our PTO sponsored
events, please attend a meeting to learn more about what is going on and
how to become involved. We meet the second Tuesday of most months at 6:30 pm.
